Follow county 278 east from the town of Grand Lake until you can see the road come to an end. take a hard right into the lower lot which has ample parking. hand launch anywhere on the shore. handful of picnic tables and spots. good access to the north / less busy side of Grand Lake. some trees and shade. Upper lot has seasonal vault toilets and is the trailhead to a great moderately difficult hike to a series of waterfalls and breathtaking views of the lake area and surrounding mountains.
