Description

There are several launch points dotted around the harbour. This one is directly next to a car park where you can stay overnight in a motorhome. From here you can paddle several kilometres through the picturesque harbour and up the Colligan River. At the point the river stops being tidal there are several large boulders blocking you from going any further. Round trip took me about 2.5 hours going with the incoming tide. The bay looks nice for sea kayaking but I didn't head out there or see any other kayaks. So best check with a local about any dangerous currents.
