Description

A good short trip to Waldron bridge. Don't recommend going to 69 highway takeout. It is a hard long walk up a hill zigzaging aroun trees. Also there is a couple class 2 to 3 maybe a small 4 when water is up. A fun ride.

Access off Curry Highway (AL 257) turn on Camp O'Rear Rd and in 100 ft. turn on the gravel road running to the old bridge. Gravel parking area with space for cars along left side. Grassy area by entrance for trailers to park.
Semi-steep but stable gravel path down to the creek (~150ft from parking to creek). No kayak or canoe slide.
