Location: Land Between the Lakes, Trigg County, Kentucky, Road 169 GPS: N 36 43’ 27.7” W 88 04’ 41.96” Directions to Access Point: Travel Highway 68/80 east from Murray; turn south on the Woodlands Trace National Scenic Byway; turn west onto Road 169. Amenities: Group Campground – No defined campsites, fire rings and/or grills, picnic tables, vault toilets, trash removal and mowed areas. Parking: 50 unimproved spaces Restrictions: Reservations are required for camping. Safety: Wear your life jacket. Know your skills and limits. Wind and weather can create dangerous conditions. Let someone know where you are going and when you plan to return. Plan to “Pack it in; pack it out!” South from Colson Hollow Group Camp 1.2 miles south by the water trail to Redd Hollow Campground access point. Safety: Be aware of the wind and weather forecast. Time Allotment: 45 minutes Trail Description: The trail leads you out of Colson Hollow and south to the Redd Hollow Campground access point. Wildlife Viewing: Cultural Features: Natural Features: Fishing Information:   North from Colson Hollow Group Camp 2.1 miles north by the water trail to Mays Hollow access point. Safety: Be aware of the wind and weather forecast. Time Allotment: 1 hour Trail Description: The trail leads you out of Colson Hollow and then north along the shoreline of Kentucky Lake to the Mays Hollow access point.
