Description
This is a county park that has two launching spots. One is a cement boat ramp on Gordon's Creek and the other is a sand and gravel launch on the Chickahominy River, next to the wooden fishing pier.
If you want to explore Gordon's Creek, use the boat ramp; otherwise, use the spot on the River. There are lots of facilities here. It may be that you should pay a fee to use the boat ramp, but I don't think that is enforced for canoes and kayaks.
Across the river you will find Morris Creek, which is well worth exploring. Gordon's Creek is beautiful, with only a few houses to mar the views.
