Easy launch from Cherry Beach (just watch out for wake). Lots of construction and traffic driving to the beach mid-week, but worth it for free parking and easy beach access. Took about 15mins to paddle across the Eastern Channel. Once near the Ward Island ferry, it’s easy to pop into the calmer waters and leisurely explore the Toronto Islands. Beautiful view of the Toronto skyline and lots of birds.
