This boat ramp is on one of the main boating waterways. Across the main waterway is a nature preserve, but in a kayak it might be tough to get out at the preserve due to a tall dock. There is an area to the east of the nature preserve that was interesting. Though it's probably a good place to avoid during any bird hunting season. There were quite a few buckshot cartridges floating around.
