Good class II/III run from Glenwood to the 182 bridge takeout near Amity. Check the levels and make sure the flow is above 250cfs. This is an 8 mile run and even though there are a lot of good whitewater spots, there is also a lot of flat water paddling. This is a great run for novice/intermediate paddlers at lower water levels, but it is important to choose good lines or you will end up in the rocks or trees. It’s important to be technical or you’ll get dumped. Wear lots of sunscreen and prepare plenty of water and snacks because you’ll be in the sun a lot. There are multiple outfitters in Glenwood if you don’t have multiple vehicles where you can leave one at the get-out. Good luck and happy paddling.
