Location: Land Between the Lakes, Stewart County, Tennessee, Road 391 GPS: N 36 32’ 39.9” W 88 01’ 44.8” Directions to Access Point: Beginning at Highway 79 in Dover, Tennessee, turn north on the Woodlands Trace National Scenic Byway; turn west onto Road 221; turn south on Road 206; turn west on Road 391. Amenities: Dispersed Camping – No facilities. Dispersed Camping Permit required. Parking: 3 unimproved spaces Restrictions: Road 391 is accessible by 4 wheel drive, high clearance vehicles only. Safety: Wear your life jacket. Know your skills and limits. Wind and weather can create dangerous conditions. Let someone know where you are going and when you plan to return. Plan to “Pack it in; pack it out!” South from Byrd Bay 4.7 miles south by the water trail to the Hickory Shed Landing access point. Safety: Be aware of the wind and weather forecast. Time Allotment: 2 hours, 30 minutes Trail Description: The trail will take you out of Byrd Bay, along the shoreline of Kentucky Lake, into Hughes Bay and then to the Hickory Shed Landing access point. Wildlife Viewing: Cultural Features: Natural Features: Fishing Information:   East from Byrd Bay 0.6 miles east by the water trail to the Azotus Church access point. Safety: Be aware of the wind and weather forecast. Time Allotment: 15 minutes Trail Description: This short section of trail will take you along the shoreline to the Azotus Church access point.
