Easy concrete ramp on a tidal estuary with pebble beaches adjacent to the ramp and the parking area. Best at mid to high tide as clam flats are exposed at low tide. Not much current and fairly protected except in northerly or southerly winds above 15 kts. Great access to the Great Bay National Wildlife Refuge with many species of birds and interesting small rocky cliffs and rock gardens. Several beaches along the wildlife refuge which has walking trails and observation platforms. A few power craft on the water, but generally serene. Picnic table at the launch but no toilets or fresh water.
