This pack is a beast. I used this in the BWCA in July and it was amazingly comfortable. I had it packed to the rim with gear for two weighing in at 60lbs. The pack straps are extremely comfortable and I used the tumpline for one of mile plus portages. On its maiden voyage it lived up to its name in durability and comfort. Frost River makes amazing products and would highly recommend anything from there!
I bout this 4 years ago and have taken it on the Namekagen River, the Blue Earth River, the Minnesota River and into the BWCA. This hybrid canoe fits everything I need for a weeklong trip with room to spare. The Next tracks well and I can sit in it for hours without getting “canoe butt”. I love this canoe and would recommend it to anyone asking about it.
