Great kayak! After reading a lot of reviews here I'm so glad I went with the 170 over the 165. At 5'9" 165lb this is a perfect fit. But I have no idea how anyone larger than me would fit. Maybe it's because I'm coming from a 12' recreational kayak, but still it's a tight fit for me even though that's what you expect from this type of kayak.
Great tracking, quick, and the skeg is amazing when even a little wind picks up.
Perfect amount of storage for a longer trip, plus some left over for any extras you may have needed to skimp on with a smaller kayak.
The only thing I wish it had was a paddle holder like my Perception Carolina. But I can probably add one easily.
