I bought this bamboo SUP for my wife and to share with my daughter as we live near a lake. Its only 23.5lbs and really impressed with the graphics and detail in the paint. we are just recreational paddlers on flat water and not only can my daughter handle this , it supports both of us. I would definitely consider buying another one for myself, but they were out of the colour option I wanted. The price point was less than a normal epoxy/bamboo hard boards of same quality from the big brands but for less money, I paid $1299.00 retail CDN MSRP was $1299 but still $400 - $700 less than competitors . It came with a carbon paddle that is not too bad for the package deal, but its a 1 piece paddle , I would rather of had a 2 piece carbon paddle
