Gearlab has exceeded all of my expectations. My first inquiry was regarding the Sea Shepherd paddle. Following a quick reply I was informed they were no longer in production. I waited for a couple months to see if they would come out with another special edition. After another communication I was told no further special editions were in the works. Being an off shore company I was apprehensive in doing business directly. I had another company get my deck pod for me. The quality was fantastic and I decided to place an order directly with a Gearlab for a Akiak paddle, new paddle bag, extra tips, and stickers. All communications were easy and efficient. Customer service was at the highest level. Shipping was extremely fast and DHL communicated multiple times each day. In three days I had my purchase in hand. The quality of all was excellent. I can’t wait to hit the water with my new paddle and accessories. As a note: I run a global company doing business in 97 countries so I understand the difficulties of doing business internationally. I can only say I strive to offer the same level of service and customer satisfaction that Gearlab and their products have displayed with my order.
