I have 2 of the Sea Lion kayaks that I have had for at least 20 years now. I commonly use them for 1 to 2 week long trips out island hopping. I once encountered very large waves on a paddle back and the kayak held up great. It was shorter forward than backwards at that point. This kayak has never failed me.
