I decided to get a lighter and more responsive kayak after owning a current designs squall for 17 years. The difference is phenomenal. It is so easy to get in and out of; rides wind-drive swells on deep Oregon lakes and reservoirs and is exceptionally light for loading onto a Subaru Outback with my female partner who is 68 and my size (5'2.5 inches tall, 117#), Oh, and I'm turning 64 in October. We plan on loading up our kayaks (she has an old Squall) and camping on a Cascade Lake beach with a view of Diamond Peak (Oregon) later in September which is about 45 minutes from our put in for 2-3 days. Can't wait. We are planning to buy a 14-foot Delta at REI unless of course you like my review so much that she wins ONE. Thank you for considering my submission of a raving review!!!!
