I would recommand this board even though I'm not a paddle expert yet. It's well constructed, it's sturdy, slides well on water, and balance is really nice for a shorter board. The only thing missing on this board is a net or anything to bring gear upfront (which is not a big thing because you can add nets/ropes with suction cup).
