I have used/own several Aire Inflatable kayaks for day use and multi-day float trips, e.g. the Escalante, Big Horn Canyon, and the Owyhee. My floating partner also used an Aire Lynnx II. Plus we took my two Border Collies with us on these trips. The Aire Lynnx II was an excellent choice for navigating these waterways even when loaded down with gear and dogs. The other prime consideration was the ability to pack these inflatable kayaks to carry to and from the waterways. At the end of the Escalante float at Coyote Canyon necessitated packing the kayaks and gear up out of the canyon and back to the parking area where we had hired a shuttle service to take us around to the starting point. The material that the Aire Lynnx uses is tough enough to handle rocks and dog paws very much a plus in my book. I definitely would recommend the Aire Lynnx II as a packable and white water worthy touring option.
