Great beginners recreational kayak. This was the first kayak myself and my wife bought and still use out on the lakes and slow moving rivers. It has a rear hatch but no bulkheads or sealed watertight spaces so dry bags are a must. The kayak is very stable and great for a beginner and is quite roomy. The only negatives for myself and my wife are the seats are not that comfortable.
