I was about to give up kayaking for good due to a bad shoulder, but I decided to try this product out. I'm so glad I did. It holds the weight of my paddle. The stroke is slightly different than with a regular paddle, but the fact that I can still go out and paddle whenever I want and not have any pain is more than worth it.
