I really like the Kayak, it was well made.

Not so much the customer service and China made replacement parts. Shipping is slow, "customer service(?)" does not respoind to parts install instructions as the black faded picture instruction sheet provided is an insult and absolutely worthless. The replacement backrest and seat (made in China) is vastly inferior to original OEM. So much so that I wanted to return ~~~ but the boss (my wife) likes new and did the blinky blinky please honey on me ~~~ even when I told her they would'nt last.

O.K. I installed them, the backrest replacement straps were/are too short and I had to cut and retie to make them work.

My advice is to go on line and find a generic replacement. "DO NOT BUY REPLACEMENTS PARTS FROM PELICAN" I'm absolutely sure that is what I will have to do in the near future.
