I am a whitewater and sea kayaking instructor at Rogue Community College. We use Jackson Kayaks for both disciplines. I have been teaching sea kayaking for RCC for years in the Journey 14. I gave most often taught 3 day classes in the sloughs of Coos Bay and the boats have always performed flawlessly. This summer I taught a 9 day kayaking class in the San Juan Islands. Again the kayaks were amazing. Fully loaded with all supplies for 9 days of paddling these boats were amazing. We crossed the Rosario Strait, and paddled nearly 70 miles. I wish these boats were not discontinued.
