This boat is easy to assemble and inflate although I would suggest using a foot pump instead of the hand held thing hobie provides. The seat they have designed for this inflatable is a 10+. Almost any size or shape paddler can get comfortable on this boat. Also this boat tracks far better than the hobie hard shell version of the mirage kayaks. This is really a great boat. I lowered it a couple of points from a 10 to an 8 because it's still heavy to move around and the case they give you to pack it back into is just stupid. Don't let that stop you from buying it: it's comfortable, tracks great, and can really get moving
