A very stable boat which is great for beginners. It's construction is very solid and it's comfortable to sit in for extended periods. If you intend on paddling this boat in estuaries or bays in winds of 15knots or over, buy a sea kayak. I live in Australia where rivers are usually heavily snagged and tight, this boat is great for these types of applications. Also excellent as a platform for photography.
