This is my first kayak and I am very happy with it. Being my first, I have nothing to compare it to. However, I can say that I am impressed with its stability and the ease with which I can control direction.

The one complaint I do have with it is the seat. There is not enough support in its construction and it contributes to a sore back after a long outing. As a senior person, I find this unacceptable and I am currently looking for a replacement.

Again, overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

This OK is my first yak. Therefore, I have nothing to compare it to. But,I took it out on the slough yesterday and was very impressed with the speed even against a good wind coming back in. I know that I'm going to have to do something about the seat which was uncomfortable and kept my butt wet all day. I stayed out fishing for 5-6 hours and did not realize how out of shape I was. I love to fish and I enjoyed the exercise. Cannot wait to get a better quality seat that will make it more enjoyable and get back out on the water.
