Most awesome canoe. I am a 5'1" woman and this canoe fits me like a glove. I can lift and haul it anywhere, love soloing this baby. Had it in the shop 3 times now, my own fault, and it came out to be back in the water again and again. The Scout just won't die....I love it!! Awesome job Bob!!

I bought my first Hellman canoe back in 2007.... it was a scout. This little beast is tuffer than nails yet light enough for this little 110 lb gal to lift around on my own. I love the independence of this baby, paddling where, when and how on my own terms.... this is hard to get with most canoes, but not my Scout!!
