I am a beginner to the world of kayaking I've used several non-inflatable sit on top kayaks down the river and enjoyed those, but my ability to lift/haul these types is limited.

This sit inside kayak and accessories, pump, paddle fit in a bag roughly the size of a large suitcase. It is light weight (easily carried under one arm) and takes less than 10 minutes to get assembled with minimal effort to air up with 1 way valves. There is netted storage available on the front end of the kayak and you can store items behind the detachable seat in the back of the kayak as the inside of the front end near your feet. Weight capacity is limited at 220lbs but at around $80.00 USD I've found this to be a great start.
