This kayak is a bit of a barge. But if you are a really big person, or want to carry a lot of gear, it may be one of your few choices. Not real responsive, it will not carve a turn when you lean it over. Sits pretty high in the water so the wind will bother it. But the quality of the CLC kit was great! Will build another, more responsive, CLC yak in the future.
