It is a lot like paddling a raft versus a kayak, but it is stable. It would take a lot to tip it versus some kayaks. There are four drainage holes. Two of which are under your seat so you get a wet but. My solution was to place 2 foam practice golf balls in those hole and cover with gorilla tape. I then put a cushioned pad on top of the built in seat which makes it more comfortable. There is space in bungee area in the back to strap my transport wheels which is nice. The main reason I purchased it was the price and the fact I could fit it in my Honda Civic with back seat down and the front passenger seat slid all the way forward. The trunk even closed! I now drive a Toyota Camry and the back seats don't lay as flat so it will not fit in the car. It is not a serious kayak but will get you out on the water and will make your arms stronger as it takes more to paddle.
