I've owned a Shearwater in Kevlar Fusion with cherry trim for 5 years and consider it to the best all-around solo boat out there. At 39 pounds it's light enough for the many portages common on Ontario canoe trips. It hauls a big load, tracks well loaded or empty and is amazingly maneuverable for a 16 footer. And it's fast. Highly recommended.
