I rented the Jackson Journey for a trip. I had been out of the water for a few years and had returned to a novice paddler status. The Journey made my return much easier. I encountered some rough ~3ft chop late in my trip and the Journey handled it wonderfully. I'm impressed with what Jackson Kayak has done with their boats and I'm interested in seeing more touring or crossover models from them.
