I used the Hala Gear 'Nass' on a road trip out west last summer, and deflated it took up about 1/4 of the back seat, allowing me the freedom from having to car-top a board and greater security from theft at trailheads/campgrounds/hotels when not in use and when I was away from the vehicle. Using the supplied hand pump it fully inflated in 5 minutes or less. It also comes with an electric pump that plugs into an auto cigarette lighter.
Pros
Good placement of tie-down rings for gear placement, rapid inflation with the supplied hand pump. FAST for an inflatable! Excellent design, construction and materials as well as stability. Easily deflated and rolled for storage in supplied bag. Newer '16 storage bags have roller wheels and are slightly larger. Though I had no problem fitting it all in the '15 models bag, the newer bags have added room for a PFD and a few extras.
Cons
The '15 model had just a tad bit of flex for its 12' length (though still very fast and stable, the minimal flex is barely a con) and the '16 model is said to be stiffer with additional hull stringers in the construction. I only mention the flex in the Nass after using the Hala Gear 'Straight Up' which is 2' shorter at 10' a year before on the Colorado River. The shorter Straight Up showed no flex that I could notice on the flats, and a very minimal flex running through standing waves and whiteH2o on the Colorado River.
Usage
My intended use is exercise and touring.
