This is technically not a dry suit (hence the actual name "paddling suit"), since it originally came with a neoprene (not latex) neck gasket. There are latex wrist gaskets and booties for the feet. It's marketed to stand up paddlers. As a sea kayaker, I bought it since it was lightweight, and could be folded up and not take up much space in a kayak. Plus it was less expensive than a full drysuit. I wound up doing a lot of rolling and bracing practice, and too much water entered through the neck gasket, so I had Kokatat replace it with a latex gasket (it cost about $80 several years ago). The new gasket has worked well, and overall I'm happy with the new "drysuit". However, next time, I'll buy a full on, heavier duty drysuit.
This is a good product and a great concept. Well made and fits perfectly into the bow of my Current Designs Caribou. Very happy with it.
This has been a surprisingly good product. I say surprisingly good because I thought it would be cheaply made, but although I wouldn't call it rugged, it has held up very well. It's not watertight, but it has lots of room for items you need to get to quickly. I really like the two side pockets, in which I put my water bottle and bilge pump. There's also a zipper pocket in front for small items, and a bungey net on top to hold a map or other items. It also has many attachment points to secure to your deck. Overall, a good product for the price.
This has been a great paddle. I've been using it for 8 years and it has held up well. I expected it to break, as it is so lightweight, but it is surprisingly strong. A joy to paddle with, especially on long days.
