Love this boat. I find it faster and dryer then then the Esquif Canyon. On my last trip my partner a young 14year old and my self were always waiting for the Canyon on the flats. Or waiting while they bailed running rapids. The seats are not very comfortable however they are probably the lightest made and worth the pain.
I bought a used royal lite model and love this canoe. At 59 lbs it makes for a very versatile boat. I turns on a dime in white water and when tripping it tracks fine. My only complaint is it is a bit slow.
