I have used a Loon 100 for the past 6 years on both lakes and moving water streams and rivers. I don't find it to be tippy and it maneuvers quite easily. the rear hatch has never been waterproof so you need a dry bag to keep dry stuff onboard. I have fished from it although cockpit room is a bit tight. I'm 5'10" and 175# . Overall it is an enjoyable recreational craft.
