I love my kayak. I am 5 ft 6in female, weigh 160 lbs. I like the weight at only 50 lbs I plan to carry it myself once I'm more familiar with loading and unloading. It has a perfect size cockpit for me to get into and out of, but most of all, it handles fantastic on the water. I plan to have this kayak for years!

Of the many kayaks I tested I loved the Kestrel. It was smooth on the water, the turning was fantastic. I am a female paddler 5ft 6in tall and the size is perfect. Entry and exiting the kayak is a breeze and it is light enough to handle. I am new to kayaking and look forward to gaining experience in a boat that I will still love for years to come.
