I am a first time Kayaker and taking that into account, I have had no trouble with this Kayak. I am also a larger guy at 300 lbs and this Kayak fits and holds me extremely well. I agree with the other reviews that it could use a few extra things. A way to carry it by yourself. Also the fact that your feet are above you when sitting make moving around while in it and getting in and out difficult. The storage is almost impossible to get open. I plan on using a ribbon like for battery packs to pull on it from the inside.
