I have used a Hullavator for over 20 years. I own 6 kayaks. I was lucky to purchase one used at half the price. This is beast of a work horse.

My main kayak for this rack is 101 lbs, old poly tandem, it is over the recommended weight limit by the manufacture but has stood up exceptional well.

I load into a E-350 full sized van 6'6" high. After reading many review paddlers need to always check safety equipment their racks of any kind, Bolts get loose, straps wear out, frames can twist, with any piece of equipment. I don't see how we give a item a low rating if it last 10 years or more.

One of my best purchases ever.
