Is there a perfect sea kayak? Maybe not but this one comes very close. It is very well made and very fast for any sea kayak and especially one as rockered as the 520. Initially the primary stability was a bit tippier than what i was used to but after less than an hour it felt very comfortable. I have been out in all sorts of conditions and it trims very nicely with the nice skeg system that it comes with. This kayak catches waves with ease and is highly manoeuvrable on edge. Needless to say, it is an absolute dream to roll. Several of our club members have the Zegul Greenland GT which is a nice fast boat but it feels like a barge compared to my 520. Unfortunately, at this stage there does not appear to be any more of these in Australia. Try one of these if you have the chance, you won't be disappointed.
