My first kayak, the Walden…
My first kayak, the Walden Paddler, a river kayak. Red. My best friend. I got her in 1997. I took her out, for the 1st time on Spotswood Lake, in Spotswood NJ. My home town. We also spent a lot of hours on Farrington Lake, in east Brunswick, NJ. I loved that, I needed no help in getting her onto the roof of my car. I enjoyed many lovely hours with me and myself and Her. The ultimate times, were up on the Delaware River in Long Eddy, NY in the Catskill Mts, where most regrettably, I lost her forever, when burglars broke into my sisters home, and stole everything, including Her! She was the best! I'll never forget you, my red river Walden Paddler!
