If you have an inflatable…

If you have an inflatable SUP chances are after inflating it a few times manually you’re going to want to make things a little easier on yourself and use an electric pump instead.

The truth is I used a hand pump for years. Sure it was a bit of work to inflate my boards but I didn’t think too much of it.

When I finally tried an electric pump several years ago, there was no turning back.

Inflating your paddle board with a high-pressure electric pump eliminates the sweat and hard work before getting on the water.

You can just attach the hose to the valve on your board, set the PSI level and let it do its thing. It’s way easier!

I’ve tried most of the electric SUP pumps on the market but have found that only a couple actually work well.

They all seem to have their issues. Either they’re too slow, they don’t connect to the valve properly or they overheat and break down. I’ve had many pumps sadly burnout.

Up until now none of them have been perfect but I made do because they were still better to use than manually pumping my boards to 15 PSI with the hand pump.
