I spent a lot of time researching the perfect touring board for me and my wish list was the board needed to be light weight but not as delicate as the new race boards, be wide enough to be stable even with overnight gear, have tie downs, good speed and tracking, and be a great looking board. This board is all of the above.
Pros
I love everything about this board, and I am extremely happy with it.
Cons
The fin that comes with it is fairly small, and I have been told that it may not have the most durable design, although it seems fine to me. I may upgrade to a larger fin to see if there's much of a difference.
Usage
I mainly tour on this board, and plan to enter a few races this summer.

The Blue Wave Fathom is a wonderful cruising SUP, designed and built for paddling Ontario's Great Lakes.
Pros
Very stable yet nimble and fast for such high volume and long board. It slices through chop and waves. The recessed foam pad stays dry most of the time, with the waves breaking at the front of the board and displacing off to the sides. It tracks very well.
Cons
Nothing yet.
Usage
I use it for exercise and day-touring at my cottage in Haliburton.
