Bought this kayak on closeout and it is great for the price. yes its a little heavy and wide but my daughter is paddling this so much better than one of our older Walden's. The built quality seems like it should last for a long time. We also own an older Pungo and this is not as fast on the water but it does keep up without much extra effort. But it is more stable the kids can almost stand in it.
