    Adirondack 10 LT Description

For many small paddlers, a lightweight boat is the difference between going paddling on their own, or needing help. Swift asked designer David Yost to push the limits - and the Adirondack 10 LT is his answer. The shorter length and absence of hatches and bulkheads allows us to build a kayak that weighs only 22 lbs in Carbon Fusion.

Fun rec boat for good weather and calm water
Wind greater than 8 knots pushes boat around really a great deal, and waves at 1.5 ft start swamping boat
10 Lv is too small for anyone over 5 ft 5 and over 120 lbs
Enjoy on nice days take a book and lounge in the very comfy seat! It handles really well.

If you are a small person…

If you are a small person with a strong desire to have a great kayaking experience then I would recommend you look into the Swift Adirondack series. The boat weighs in at 24lbs for the Kevlar and 22lbs for the carbon model. I have been out 3 times and must say the boat is a joy to paddle.

Easy maneuvering, good tracking, and lots of space for extras. Would have given a 10 except for the seat. I probably have not learned how to properly adjust so that might change this review to a 10. So if you are a shorter (5'2") and lighter (119lbs.) person consider this gem of a boat.
