If you purchase this very cheap kayak, be aware that other kayakers are going to shun you and give you a hard time about how your kayak is a "bathtub" or a "bad 'yak." Don't listen to them! Know your limitations. This kayak is not going out to sea. It will struggle in any moving water, and if you flip it, you will almost certainly not be able to re-enter it in the water. Those things being said - it fits in most vehicles, weighs just 27 pounds and is perfect for getting off the couch, out of the house, and onto calm waters (which are actually quite abundant).
Despite "experts" claiming the kayak doesn't track well, that has not been my experience. Since it is short, I don't get a lot of distance out of each stroke, but it isn't a race. I see birds, I'm on the water. I love it. If this kayak is the only one in your price range, don't let the nay-sayers limit you.
