I have owned the canoe for five years. Great boat for kids, can easily fit two adults and two kids. Paddles well, but not a super fast boat. Add another thwart to decrease flex. Great value.

My wife and I were given this boat as a wedding gift and love it. We go for weekends, mostly flatwater with our 80 lb lab and find it really stable. Great boat.

One of the oldest canoe models made, the Allagash is an excellent wilderness tripper and great all-around recreational boat. It paddles well and has supurb primary & secondary stability.
