A machine for steep creeks

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 4/24/2016

Took this boat for a North Idaho steep creek mission and all I have to say is, ''WOW!'' The boat resurfaces like a champ, glides across holes after drops, surfs waves well, turns on a dime, boofs like a charm, and the soft chines are very nice when you really need to turn or catch an eddie/Ferry, but don't trip you up like a hard chine. the progressive rocker makes it east to get up and over features yet can speed up and slow down quick; Its like having 4W drive in pushy steep creeks.

Great creeking, knocked around in the Canyon

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 3/20/2016

I love this boat in the right environment. I paddled 287 miles through Grand Canyon and did pretty well. Even in big features the boat is incredibly stable and rolls with ease. I noticed early on that it does not track terribly well and has a tendency to get knocked around. I was mulling over whether to try a new boat when I paddled 55 miles on the Upper Salt in Eastern Arizona. At 1000cfs this felt like an entirely different boat. Boofs, surfing, punching holes... it handles it all very well. I was happy to learn where this boat excels and where it does not.

Boofs like a champ! Good speed and easy to turn! This boat is very stable in difficult whitewater and makes paddling easy! Stoked to own this boat!

whats up homies

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 7/16/2015

well it took like ten days before i began this journey of kayaking and completed my first "roll" yesterday in my Stomper 90. Although I used the bottom of the whitewater center to perform this "roll" i still made it upright. its a start! was very happy with the staff! and Neil did a real good job of gaining my business months earlier at the tuck festival here in Charlotte. Neil also gave a tour of your factory and this made the buying experience alot better. Usually I dont like to buy stuff like this brand new but did not feel like shopping around so randomly drove up to your shop and picked the yak up and the experience was great. I will definitely recommend your kayaks to others at the white water center and other places! if you all need a spot to crash thats 20 minute from the white water center ever just give me a shout -Brad Wallace

Madison Stomp

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 3/26/2015

I've only had it on the water once, but so far I absolutely love it! I can see that it will inspire confidence on harder water in the future. Shout out to Woody for his hospitality in Madison.

Thank You

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 2/20/2015

I have paddled a Blunt creeking and for big water since the first ones were available at GauleyFest way back in the day. This boat obviously blows the doors off that boat and I couldn't be happier with the bigger volume. I was skeptical that if find a better fit for hand paddling than the Blunt, but I stand wholly corrected.... Great design. Looking forward to a good season. Best, David
