I have paddled a Burn for about 10 years in whitewater from Class 1 to Class 4. Super solid boat, stable, pretty easy to roll. I call it the SUV of kayaks, it does almost everything well. I would recommend it.

The Pyranaha Burn 2 is a very dependable solid kayak. I found it's cockpit to be a little wider and more comfortable than the current 3rd degree Burn. It's interior outfitting supports a slightly wider knee position than current boats. The edges are sharp and defined but still will not "trip you up} in shallow water hitting rocks. The speed is adequate and turning is good. I call the Burn 2 the SUV of river running/creek kayaks. It is solid and dependable with no bad characteristics

I recently tried out a friends Pyranha Burn L. I am a beginner but this kayak was not hard to handle at all. It was easy to paddle through holes as well as manage some pretty tough rapids.

Performs well in creeking and big water. I have paddled this boat for the past three years and have been very happy with its performance.
