Although a bit heavier than some others out there, my old town durigo 12' has been with me for over 15 years and has done more miles than I can keep track of. Performs great in all conditions, lakes, rivers, fast water, slow water, pleasure and sport, it's been great! Lots of room in the cockpit for fishing and plenty of deck space for gear and my yak dog. Even thru rocky water it has come out great. Would consider another old town purchase in the future.

Love this kayak. A family friend lent me one for the summer while they are traveling. I use it any chance I can and it is one of the smoothest, lightest kayaks I've ever used while still remaining remarkably sturdy. Really hope I can get my own someday. Great for midwestern lakes.

We bought this canoe used from a canoe rental company. The seats will need to be replaced because they have a lot of wear and tear, but the canoe is awesome. It's a little heavy, but I am able to carry it alone with only minor backaches later. LOL. We camp a lot, so this has been perfect for taking on trips. I highly recommend all Old Town canoes.

Very happy with purchase…

Very happy with purchase .Length and weight perfect for my size (5'4" 115 lbs.) Very stable. Comfortable seat. Drop Skeg contributes to much better tracking in open waters. Large cockpit size, larger then I am used to, but getting used to it. That would be a plus for a larger person getting in and out of the kayak.

Very happy with my purchase. Seat very comfortable. Length and weight good fit for my size (5' 4", 115 lbs.) Drop skeg works great when in open waters to achieve better tacking! Very stable.
