I bought the canoe in spring of 2020. The version I bought is Kevlar reinforced with carbon fiber, with anodized aluminum thwarts and gunnels. It tips the scale at 27 lbs. As I’m about to turn 70, this was a big selling point for me. I can easily put it on and off my car rack. It tracks well and is very maneuverable. I paddle lakes and class I and II rivers. It is a joy to solo paddle and definitely not a tandem boat. Because of its light weight it is easy to deal with and I use it more than any of my other canoes and kayaks. I highly recommend it!!
